Forgive me for sounding a note of caution here, but everyone needs to lower their expectations about how long the GAO will take to do their investigation, then write the report of their findings and recommendations for action, then move to the Senate for related hearings.
I have been down this road, and if everyone thinks the SEC was a joke, wait till you see what this has the potential for turning into. We are the only ones who can make sure this doesn't turn into a whitewash.
The SEC knows how to play the administrative investigation game, and you can believe they will come in full armor, and that they will use every delaying tactic and dirty trick in the books.
When this over, if ever, it won't be until someone is calling for "Investigate the GAO". They better hear that from our side as a threat, or they will be politic'd into giving the SEC a wet kiss on the back of their hands, rather than the ordering the appropriate beheadings this mess should result in.
We must keep up the pressure without quarter.
